The Membership Task Force is a dedicated group within GAPNA that focuses on strengthening the value of membership and supporting the growth of our community. This task force works to identify the needs of current and prospective members, evaluate member benefits, and recommend strategies that enhance the overall membership experience.
Key responsibilities of the task force include:
- Reviewing trends in membership recruitment, engagement, and retention.
- Exploring and recommending new benefits, resources, or initiatives that add value to membership.
- Gathering feedback from members to ensure their voices and needs are represented.
- Supporting efforts to raise awareness about GAPNA and the advantages of being part of the organization.
- Collaborating with leadership and other committees to align membership efforts with GAPNA’s mission and strategic goals.
Ultimately, the Membership Task Force plays an important role in ensuring that GAPNA continues to be a vibrant, supportive, and forward-thinking professional home for gerontological advanced practice nurses.
